Instant Damage
Instant Damage is an instant status effect that decreases health for players and living mobs and heals the undead.
Effect
Instant Damage inflicts magic damage of × 2level. Undead mobs are healed as if with Instant Health instead. Death is reported as " was killed by magic". When applied using a lingering potion, damage is inflicted every second. As this is magic damage, it can be decreased only via Resistance and Protection. Instant Damage has its duration set in game ticks (instead of seconds) with the command.
Immune mobs
Witches are 85% resistant to Instant Damage , but are 95% Resistant to Instant Damage . Endermen are immune to Instant Damage from splash potions and tipped arrows, but not from commands or lingering potions. Ender dragon is immune to Instant Damage, if it isn't player-based damage, e.g. potions shot from a dispenser. Creakings spawned by a creaking heart are immune to Instant Damage; creakings spawned by a spawn egg are not immune.
