Jack Black

Thomas Jacob "Jack" Black (born August 28, 1969)[1] is an American actor, comedian, and musician best known for his roles in various family and comedy films. Some of his most notable appearances include School of Rock as Dewey Finn, Po in the Kung Fu Panda franchise, and Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. He is also the lead vocalist of Tenacious D.

Jack Black is best known in the Minecraft franchise for his role as Steve in A Minecraft Movie. He was revealed to be starring in the film in January 2024,[2] and later appeared in a promotional video for the 15 Days of Minecraft alongside Jason Momoa, teasing the film.[3] He also performed some tracks featured in the film, such as I Feel Alive and Steve's Lava Chicken.

Prior to that, he narrated one version of the Minecraft: The Island audiobook, while Samira Wiley narrated the other.[4]
