Meadow

The meadow is an elevated grassy mountain slope and plateau biome filled with patches of flowers, turquoise-green grass and tall grass, where sheep, donkeys and rabbits spawn.

Meadows generate on the slope of mountains, standalone on plateaus, or as valleys inside mountain rings, in the medium and cold temperature zones. This allows for a wide variety in shapes and terrain; they can often generate as "microbiomes" of only a few blocks wide; as plateaus stretching hundreds of blocks; or a thin slope surrounding massive mountains. Meadow biomes can also form mountain rings on their own.

On the valley side of meadows, they border flower forests, plains, forests, birch forests, and taigas while they border jagged peaks, snowy slopes, and groves on the mountain side. They can border cherry groves, savanna plateaus, or any snowy biome when the temperature changes, and forests or pale gardens when humidity increases.
