Old Growth Spruce Taiga

The old growth spruce taiga or redwood taiga mutated is a forested biome covered with tall 2×2 spruce trees that grow leaves all around the trunk. The ground is made of podzol and coarse dirt and covered by mossy cobblestone rocks.

Old growth spruce taigas generate at moderately low temperature, very high humidity and negative weirdness. They commonly border regular taigas and dark forests. They are often separated by rivers from old growth pine taigas, a variant with mega pine trees that only have some leaves at the top.

Old growth spruce taigas can generate in any type of terrain, near swamps and windswept forests, or near mountains with grove slopes and nearby pale gardens. Due to their very high humidity values, old growth spruce taigas are almost guaranteed to have lush caves generate beneath them.
