Raw Iron

Raw iron is an item obtained by mining iron ore. It can be smelted in a furnace or blast furnace to produce iron ingots, which are used in crafting and building.

Iron ore and deepslate iron ore mined with a stone pickaxe or a higher-tier pickaxe drop 1 unit of raw iron. When mined with a pickaxe enchanted with Fortune, the ore can drop an additional unit per level of the enchantment, up to a maximum of 4 units with Fortune III. If mined with a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch, the ore block itself is dropped instead.

Raw iron can be smelted in a furnace or blast furnace to produce iron ingots, which are used in crafting tools, weapons, armor, and many other iron items.
