Scatter Island

Scatter Island is a wooded island inhabited by endermen in Minecraft Mini-Series. It houses the Ender Cave, the main setting of the episode of the same name, as well as a mountainous biome featured in The Challenge of Ice and Magma.

Scatter Island is mostly mountainous with only a small taiga biome near the shore. The coastal hills are populated by spruce trees, and are cut off near the shore in cliff form. Because of the many endermen inhabiting the taiga, grass, sand, and stone blocks are scattered randomly across the landscape. In the middle of the island is the Ender Cave, where the first challenge took place and The Enderall lived. At higher altitudes, the mountains are inhabited by strays and polar bears, with a frozen lake near the summit and a racetrack of the Challenge of Ice and Magma.

This wooden hut was used by the participants to take shelter before CommuniKate told them the challenge is on. When the Ender Cave challenge ended, CommuniKate blew the shelter up, harming two endermen.

Ender Cave

Main article: Ender Cave

The Ender Cave is a small cave on Scatter Island, where the first challenge took place. After the end of the challenge, CommuniKate used a lever to drop a wall and bring The Enderall for the second half of the challenge.

Mountains

The mountains are a cold biome occupying most of Scatter Island and are where the Challenge of Ice and Magma took place.

History

After leaving Eerie Island, the participants were brought to Scatter Island for the next challenge, building their shelter there. In the island, multiple endermen were seen carrying blocks across the beach and repeatedly startling Zed with their teleportation abilities. Later, the participants entered the Ender Cave where they are challenged to gather as many Ender pearls as possible for the prize of a lot of food. Because of Quinn cheating with two swords, CommuniKate brought on The Enderall and tasked Team Stone Beach to defeat it, which Quinn did by stabbing its back.

For the next challenge, CommuniKate blew up the contestants' shelter and all went to the mountains where the Challenge of Ice and Magma was under construction by iron golems. The contestants were tasked to cross the frozen lake while watching out for strays along the shore, then build snow golems. One member was tasked to craft snow blocks out of snowballs while the other had to retrieve a pumpkin while watching out for magma block veins and water ditches. To help them, CommuniKate provided the teams with Frost Walker diamond boots at the end of the lake. The prize of the challenge consisted of a lot of steak, appealing the starving contestants.

Meanwhile, Quinn noticed Mo coming out of a hole secretly, revealing to the former where the eliminated contestants were teleported to. Fascinated by CommuniKate's usage of her command block, Toby tries his best to get his hands on the code book.

As the challenge started, Team Mesa reached the racetrack safely, even though Durango was slowed by a stray's arrow. Team Tundra, who were overly confident, managed to reach the racetrack without boots. While Rudi finished the snow blocks, Sacha tried her best to get her pumpkin to the construct, but stepped on too many magma blocks and then starved to death, eliminating her team.

Later, Quinn used an ender pearl to teleport her way to her team's construct, but got stopped by a wall of snow spawned by CommuniKate, who saw it as cheating. Within Team Mesa, River managed to create a snow golem, winning the challenge. Then, all the contestants left to for the final challenges.
