Settings

Minecraft's user environment can be configured through the settings menus. A few additional options can be changed only by editing the options.txt file manually.

The settings can be accessed from both the main menu and the game menu. The "Storage" and "Language" settings tabs are not available from the game menu, and some options are only changeable in the main menu or the game menu. World settings are stored per world instead of client-side, and can only be accessed by the host of the world while in the game menu.

The Subscriptions, Storage,​[not in future version] and all pack settings tabs still use their old UI and are shown in separate screens. The settings in the game menu on Realms and in the Editor use the old UI for all tabs.
