Snowy Beach

A snowy beach or cold beach is a snowy variant of the beach biome that replaces it in frozen regions.

Snowy beaches replace beaches in the coldest temperature zones, where they may border snowy plains, ice spikes, snowy taigas, and regular taigas. Frozen rivers can cut through snowy beaches, and icebergs from the frozen ocean begin generating close to the land.

Not every snowy biome is separated from the frozen ocean by a snowy beach. Near mountains, stony shores often replace snowy beaches, even though they are not as cold.
