Starter Seeds

Several world seeds are predefined for the trial version and quick world creation. They are notable for their easy Survival spawns or visually impressive world generation.

Quick world creation is available after opening Minecraft for the first time after installing, allowing to quickly create a world with default world settings. Worlds created through quick world creation do not default to random seeds, they are limited to a predefined set of "starter seeds". These seeds are notable for rare or unique world generation, with easy resources, different structures, outstanding terrain, and the largest biomes. There are 11 seeds, defined in StarterSeeds.txt in the vanilla resource packs.

In the trial version, all newly created worlds share the same seed, described below.
