A straw bed may be crafted with 3 hay bales,[3] though the recipe is described as a work in progress[1][4] and is subject to change.

Straw beds are a consumable bed variant that do not reset a player's spawn point when sleeping.[1] They can be stacked up to 16.[4] However, it breaks after one use.[3] It is not confirmed whether it drops as an item or not when this happens.
