Wolf Armor
Wolf armor is an item crafted from armadillo scutes that can be equipped on a wolf to completely protect it against most damage types. It has limited durability, but can be repaired by using armadillo scutes on the wolf wearing it. It can also be dyed, and cannot be equipped on baby wolves.
In Bedrock Edition, due to a bug, zombies, as well as husks, zombie villagers, and drowned can also pick up and equip wolf armor, and it works as if it is equipped on a wolf.[1]
Wolves wearing wolf armor always drop their wolf armor when they die, regardless of what kills them.
