Hour of AI: The First Night (trailer)

Hour of AI: The First Night is a trailer for Minecraft Education promoting the Hour of AI map of the same name.

In their couch room, Agent holds their three helpers across their arms who come to life. The narrator explains how the helpers can assist them on anything they tell them to do, as represented by them arranging a bunch of scattered books onto shelves. Agent and their helpers then turn to find themselves in a plains biome at dusk, and the narrator suggests if the tasks could become as difficult as surviving the first night in Minecraft. To represent the mechanism of commanding AI, Agent teaches their helpers to mine wood by breaking a log from a tree, making them recognize it as wood. The helpers fulfill the order by breaking another log from a spruce tree, but on another attempt they mistake a bee nest for wood, angering the bees. As the narrator promotes the Hour of AI, the helpers build a hut for Agent near the edge of the hill. Later, Agent and their helpers run from an exploding creeper by a hillside. The explosion reveals a blob of coal ore, exciting Agent and commanding the helpers to mine it. As the hut was finished, the narrator asks Agent if they forgot something, the latter denying, and a chicken jockey commands a hidden army of archers to target the hut. Threatened, Agent realizes they forgot a door, which they place before the arrows landed.
