The Machine That Puts Things Into Minecraft is a piece of experimental technology created by Mojang Studios for expeditions into Minecraft.

The machine, through unknown methods, is capable of converting organic matter into characters from Minecraft, sending them into a manifestation of the game. It appears to serve other functions as well, or at least is mistakable for such, with Jens Bergensten being known to think it's a washing machine.[1]

At an unknown point in time, Mojang Studios began developing the technology within their . For whatever reason, Jens Bergensten began using it to wash his socks, which became such a rampant problem for its engineers that they placed a note to tell him to stop.

In order to send Narrator on a field assignment for an episode of his show, he was allowed usage of the machine. Through this, he emerged on the border between a taiga and plains, where he would be trapped for many years. [1]
