Minecraft "Pretty Scary" 1.4 Official Trailer
The Minecraft "Pretty Scary" 1.4 Official Trailer is a trailer for Java Edition 1.4.2. The trailer focused on the main aspects of the Pretty Scary Update, indirectly showcasing most of its additions. It was produced by the YouTube channel Hat Films and uploaded to the official Minecraft channel on October 26, 2012.
Alsmiffy, djh3max, and Trottimus come out of their house wearing Halloween costumes. They cross a wooden bridge and walk along a stone path, where the music becomes distorted. They come across a sinister mansion and it abruptly turns nighttime, with lightning flashing as the trio advanced. They find themselves at the iron doors swarmed by bats before entering the mansion. After checking, they walk through the corridor lined with alternating torches on item frames and Wither paintings. Two invisible sword-wielding figures wearing pieces of dyed leather armor pass by the trio. At the end of the hall, they find themselves in a room where two witches cook a villager in a cauldron, staring at the players. The team then continued to another room filled with bookshelves and heads placed on walls, then to another hall, this time with item frames with pumpkin pies, golden carrots, and cobblestone walls placed inside. Along the way, they come across two invisible leather-armored pig riders.
Stopped by a lava pit, they turn to a door leading outside where they encounter nine blocks of emerald laid flat, topped with a sign reading "BEACON AWAITS YOU IN THE NETHER... good luck lol". The trio runs to a Nether portal where the sign placed on a command block reads "It's dangerous to go... ... as a trio... Take this!" and they go in. In the Nether, Alsmiffy is equipped with green-dyed leather armor, Trottimus yellow, and djh3max light blue. The team comes across a wither-spawning structure with the missing central wither skeleton skull placed on the ground. Alsmiffy places the skull where it belongs and spawns a wither, which explodes at the team who starts fighting it. Alsmiffy collects the dropped Nether star which somehow ends up in Trottimus's hand. The team takes a newly crafted beacon to the Overworld and in place of the sign on the emerald patch, activating the beacon. The camera slowly zooms up, revealing that the wooden part of the castle's roof is shaped like 1.4.

Errors
