Mounts of Mayhem: Challengers Tournament

The Mounts of Mayhem: Challengers Tournament, also referred to as the Mayhem Tournament,^[1] the Mounts of Mayhem challenge,^[2] and the Arena series,^[3] is a series of articles on Minecraft.net written to promote the Mounts of Mayhem drop.

The first installment of the series consists entirely of setup and narration, explaining the premise of various characters and mobs coming together to fight across many locations. It is established as "not for the faint of heart, with violent acts and mass destruiction. To mitigate the chaos, spears are used. Sofia remarks herself that she's inexperienced with taming animals or spear fighting, and after some heated negotiations is merely the announcer for the tournament.
