MCC: The Copper Crown is a MC Championship Twitch Rivals event, organized in collaboration with Mojang Studios and Twitch as part of Minecraft's The Copper Age drop release. It took place on October 19, 2025, 18:00 UTC.[1]
A character creator item of a cape was released in promotion of the event and the drop.
During the half-time break, Mojang Studios were holding an award show, dubbed "The Craftys", with the award of a diamond block model given out to creators. The award show was hosted by WavePunk and Anthony Toczek.

Award Show
During the half-time break, Mojang Studios were holding an award show, dubbed "The Craftys", with the award of a diamond block model given out to creators. The award show was hosted by WavePunk and Anthony Toczek.

Trivia
- This is the first event where MC Championship is officially collaborating with both Twitch and Minecraft/Mojang Studios.
- This event also features their own Meet & Greet at the Minecraft booth, featuring creators who are also regularly playing in MC Championship, despite not in this event.
